I have not shared with you before but I wanted to know that I have been following your story and I will be thinking of you and hoping that Patrick feels better soon!!!!!!!
I've been wondering, and hoping that your quiet was a good sign. I'm so glad you took him in. Children's knows what they are doing, you got him to the right place, I'm sure he'll be okay.
Oh, Julia, life just keeps barreling at you full force, doesn't it? I know you told us that you don't tend to question doctors, but please get thorough explanations and follow your instincts. I hope he heals quickly; I'll be thinking about all of you.
Lots more Good Thoughts coming from across the Atlantic (Edinburgh, Scotland, when Patrick's well enough to plot his good vibes - which will hopefully be very soon).
Oh my Lord! He's definitely in good hands and those powerful IV antibiotics will wipe that sucker out quickly, I just know it. Good thoughts, good thoughts your way.
I'm glad they're going to get to the bottom of this. I hope the process is swift and sure. Wish I could send letters and numbers your way for his amusement.
oh no! sending my best wishes. those doctors and iv antibiotics know what they're doing, that infection's going to get a good ass kicking, i'm sure of it.
I am so, so sorry. Wishing Patrick a very speedy recovery and hoping his time at Children's is not difficult - for him or for his family. May it simply be the source of some funny stories as only Patrick (and you) can tell!
Oh I'm so sorry he's not better (yet) - but it's a good thing he's at the hospital. I was getting really worried that the dr. kept him at home for this long without any improvement. Admittedly where I'm from (Prague) paediatricians are pretty, shall we say, aggressive in treating bacterial infections in kids, and over here they totally would have sent Patrick in last week.
I'm sure they'll pull out the big guns now and leave absolutely nothing to chance. I'm sure poor Patrick will miss you (and you him) but he'll be better soon. Many many good thoughts for all of you.
Yikes. I wish I could be there to hold your hand - I hope you have good local support, and I hope knowing that we are all out here thinking of Patrick and his mama is some small comfort.
