Oh dear! Wishing you the return of excellent health - STAT!

Ugh...I hope you feel better soon!

Three days? Oy. I hope you have at least a good not-too-taxing book to read or have read to you by sweet doting children.

Yikes, three days sounds like food poisoning. May be time to send Steve to the lab with a poop specimen!

Oh dear. I hope you feel much better very soon.

Get better soon!

I'm sending all you my healing energy.

Oh no. Awful. Feel better soon.

So sorry! Three days? What a nightmare. Hope it's over today...

Hope you are better soon, it may be worth a trip to the doctor just in case. Sometimes there is a need for antibiotics if you have picked up certain strains of nasty bacteria in the gut.

Boo! Hope you get well soon!!!

Three days?!?! That's not right. I hope you turn the corner very, very soon.

Oh no. I hope you will feel much better very soon.

Oh my! Three. Days?! Yes, I agree: doctor. The mind begins to turn to 'other than ordinary flu' reasons ...

Get well soon!

I will add my name to the petition requesting that you see your doctor. Are you at least keeping fluids down? I hope you get better soon.

This is a silly and charming little flash game. If that's too mentally taxing I recommend cuteoverload.com. Be weller at all speed.

Yikes! I am so sorry, Julia, and hope you get to a doctor if you aren't keeping down fluids.

Eeeek! Please go see a doctor, and I hope you'll feel better soon!

Oh lordy. Sending you healing juju, STAT.

Bless your sick heart (and your rumbly tumbly as Pooh would say) for even letting us know. YUCK. Sending healing vibes your way.

One more call to see the doctor. I can see you dwindling down to nothing from Ca.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know, now back to your deathnest

Oh dear Julia, so sorry to hear! Urgent wishes for an immediate recovery! Poor you.

Sounds like the bug that 1/2 of everyone I know has or had (myself included). Better on day 4, so here's hoping!

Oh no! Sounds hideous, hope you are on the mend very soon.

Get well soon. Had that earlier in the holiday. NOT fun :(

Urg. I'm so sorry!

oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. So sorry.

There is something, or rather two somethings, going around here in MN. One is the flu and the other is this stomach bug. I do hear it is of short duration, so hopefully you'll be on the mend soon. I hope so!

3 days vomiting is not normal stomach virus!! That's more like food poisoning or a C. Dif. Infection. Have you taken antibiotics in the past 3-4 months? If so, might be c. Dif. Go to the doctor if not dramatically better tomorrow. So sorry!!!

So sorry to hear you're so ill! I agree with previous comments that you try to get to the doctor. Even just for reassurance that it isn't anything nastier than normal gastroenteritis.

Hope you feel a lot better soon!

Oh NO! I'm so sorry. Stay hydrated! I hope you feel better ASAP.

Oh, no. :-( I'm so sorry you aren't well. See a doctor. Soon.

Fortunately you are an expert barfer with years of finely honed experience. Hang in there, and best wishes for a quick recovery!

If you aren't better in the morning I would give a call to the dr. The only stomach flu I've heard about this year (and I'm in MN too) is about 12...maybe 24 hours. We had the norovirus a couple of years ago and that was still only 48 hours of throwing up and I am pretty sure I wanted to die then (the whole experience is kinda hazy).

well.. you can always look forward to the weight loss.. though frankly i have always found that you do not lose enough to make the pain of it worth while..

so sorry. feel better.

Even when you're on your deathnest you write with perfection. Love it, hate that you're ill.

Oh dear. Get well soon, and I second the advice to get to a doctor asap. Three days?!?! ye gods.

That must have been one hell of a New Years party. Seriously, I hope you feel better soon. That sounds miserable.

Three days?! Yikes!!! Having been through that sort of hell myself, I know that actually getting dressed and *going* to the doctor is the last thing you want to do ... but I do hope you will at least call his/her office and see what they recommend. (Of course, this may be a "been there done that.") I'm worried specifically about dehydration, if you're not keeping anything down. We know Hippogriffs are tough, but there's a limit! Take care of yourself and feel better soon!!

There is a horrendous bug that is rampant on the East Coast right now that is 3 to 5 days in duration. Perhaps one of your many guests bought an unusual hostess present? At any rate, feel better soon. I second Cute Overload as well the many Grow Games (www.eyemaze.com) for boredome and saltines and ginger ale for when you start to feel better. If it is the East Coast bug, the next member of the family will be getting it in a matter of hours, if they haven't already. Take care!!

Dr's office. STAT. Hope you feel better soon!

Yuck, that sounds awful. Fluids, electrolytes, dr soon if not better.

Oh no! Feel better!

So sorry! Feel better soon!

Oh, no. Terrible. I hope you are better now. Or at least getting hydration.

Terrible! Feel better soon. Also, down the road you can appreciate not having to lose the holiday weight the "normal"way. I joke. Poor you. Get well!

Oh no! That sucks! I don't know what it is about this winter but my household has been horrendously sick, as have most people I know. I thought it was maybe just my circle, but there was a snippet on the news about it last night so it appears to be everywhere.

Sending you healing vibes from the Great White North!

Ugh. Bleh, indeed. Feel better soon!

karen

Sending get well thoughts!
